Celebrity Fashion Week in Review

Maybe it’s my mood, the moon or the fact that there is already a ton of bad fashion for me to peruse during LA Fashion Week, but while I was looking for the worst dressed celeb of the day, I came across a lot of excellent fashion! Most was at the ELLE Magazine’s 14th Annual Women in Hollywood Event Monday evening, but who cares? These women put on their game face! Better still, the ones who looked the best…were the thirty and forty-somethings! Oh there is hope for us all!Let’s take a look shall we?

You can’t even tell shes prego! Not fair! Here’s Hallie at the “The Things We Lost In the Fire” premiere on Monday. Hallie Barry is stunning as always in a black one strap dress. One shoulder is totally in this season!

Funny woman Julia Louis Dreyfus at the Elle event looks amazing and younger than usual, maybe she is less stressed. I love the dress on her, it compliments her figure nicely and of course it is her fave designer Narciso Rodriguez. The shoes however, I don’t not like the color or maybe the matte finish of the color. The shoes just don’t compliment the dress or her as they should.

Kate Bosworth at the Elle event. Now her shoes have a better sheen or shimmer if you will, than Julia’s. Like in previous posts accessories this season are all about the glam factor, and that is glam not gaudy.  Kate’s shoes compliment her milky colored, empire waist, button down ensemble, to round out everything in to a fabulous classic look. Follow this girl she has the trends down.

Ali Larter is working the plaid! If you wanted to see an example of the popular plaid this season, here it is. Not only is the dress smoking at on her the heels give the dress just the pop it needs with some metallic silver, which is also hot this season as well.

Saving the best for last Scarlett Johansson at the Elle event also. I am partial because I think Scarlett Johansson has  such classic look of a true beauty, a high fashion girl next door that will never fade. Scarlett is wearing  a deep plunge sweet heart Louis Vuitton with turquoise accents on her strappy black stilettos and her dangle earrings. Gorgeous as always!
