Amy Winehouse has strong facial features. The hairstyle that makes her look good would be one that softened her hard lines. She had the idea of using hair as the pivotal point of her makeup, as she piled on more and more hair in the various manifestations of bee hives.

Amy used heavy eye makeup and this drew attention back to the face again. She favored a hair style without a fringe and her hair was often swept back and away from her face.
The press had used artificial simulation to create images of Amy with different celebrity hair styles. It showed that formal hair styles did not soften the hard lines when the heavy mascara took all the attention away. I liked the Kate Moss hair style for Amy. The natural falling hair framed her face and created a very different look for Amy.
