The Look: “The look was very Bohemian inspired. We wanted to do something very fresh, sexy, and pretty, but different at the same time,” says hairstylist Mara Rozsak, who created this style for Sarah Michelle Gellar. Before creating French braids along Gellar’s hairline, Rozsak prepped hair with Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray to maintain the hair’s natural texture.
The Trick: French braiding can be difficult to do on your own, says Rozsak, who suggests twisting the hair from the root, and adding more hair as you twist (like braiding). Connect the two twists in the back, and the remaining hair can be pulled up into a messy loose bun.
