Max Azia’s collection of bandage dresses was displayed at New York Fashion Week. Max first had his inspiration when he experimented with the different ways of tying a bandage and he found 51 ways! He decided to create a collection of high fashion clothes using his discoveries.

Among Max’ followers were Joss Stone, Padma Lashkmi and Mandy Moore. These female celebrities wore the Max Azia trademark style of narrow, figure hugging dresses.

The first designer to create the bandage dress was Herve Leger in 1989. Max bought over the Leger House of fashion 10 years ago and has worked on expanding the Leger signature style.
