London Fashion Week: Vivienne Westwood & Ashish Gupta.
Posted on February 16, 2008Vivienne Westwood, a top London fashion designer, peppered her show with politics and rock n roll fashions. Her opening act had a model sashay down the catwalk wit a placard proclaiming the loud message. Vivienne said that she was for changing the ethic. She gave the grim prediction that fashion was heading for disaster if there was no change.
Her fashions showed micro-skirts and mini-dresses that were coupled with high boots. Punk and rock and roll were her inspirations for her autumn-winter Red Label collection.
Another designer, Ashish Gupta, was similarly inspired by disco music and folk embroidery. His models also promoted crazy sun glasses. Actually, he frames could be used to make eye spectacles too. Do you fancy them? You would become the center of attention anywhere if you wore one of those zany frames.

“Politics and Rock N Roll” are often present in London fashion…and I love it!
