Celebrity Fashion Makeover: Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni.

Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni were on their first official state visit to England. Both of them had recently revamped their public images. They wanted to appear less racy and look more serious.

The couple wore black and managed to look their severe best. Carla retained her look of a fashion icon with her straight cut attire. She managed to look good in her slim lined coat.

This was one of the rare times in public or otherwise that Carla Bruni did not wear heels. She wore sensible flat shoes with the barest heel. She was 5 ft 9 in and wanted to appear more compatible to her husband’s 5 ft 4 in. In contrast, Nicolas’ heels seemed to have raised an inch.

They look good in their new clothes.
