Trends: Comfortable high heels.

Insolia technology

Marks & Spencer have special shoes with custom made insoles that shift weight away from the ball of the foot back to the heel. This created the feeling that the shoe was lower than it actually was. This technology was dubbed as the “Insolia technology” because the insoles have built-in air cushions.

High heels

High fashion brand names like Per Una, Autograph and Limited Collection have started using the Insolia technology for their shoes with heels over 4 cm.

The best shoes for the feet were the flat ones. However, since fashion dictated comfort, the next best thing was to use shoes that could reduce the amount of discomfort.

The short version is Insolia® High Heel Inserts work by slightly rotating the front of the major bone in your heel up.

The helps rebalance your body so that the weight distribution between the ball of your foot and heel is in balance vs. the typical 3/4 ball of foot to 1/4 heel weight distribution in 3 inch heels.

Unlike everything else for high heel “ball of foot” pain, Insolia Inserts are placed at the heel - and prevent the problem, rather than under the ball of your foot trying to treat the symptom, and taking up precious space.

Hope this is a little clearer.
