Celebrity fashion: Melanie Brown’s Catty Couture.

Melanie Brown has launched her own clothing line called Catty Couture. It consisted of skimpy, tight attire. The patterns were animal prints that roared about Mel B’s love for animals. Since these were not animal products, Peta would not object strongly. Yet, Peta did not encourage wearing of animals in any way so this might draw the line between what was acceptable or frowned upon by the animal rights group.
Scary Spice launched her brand at California Market Center in LA. Her husband Stephen Belafonte was on hand to support her. Besides Catty Couture, Melanie also promoted lingerie for Ultimo.
Melanie will partner Joey Fatone to host “The Singing Office.” This is a talent scouting show that travels to offices and holds impromptu auditions. It would not be a serious competition but a fun one. Let’s wait and see if Melanie would be wearing her own fashion line in her new show.
