Audrey Tautou is new face for Chanel No. 5.

Nicole Kidman, 40, has been replaced by Chanel No. 5. The new face to promote the prefume is Audrey Tautou. Audrey’s best known acting credit was in Amelie. Audrey was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Amelie. She would receive around $8.6 million from Chanel’s contract.
Nicole Kidman had a string of box office failures despite her hefty $20 million per movie pay. Her previous movies that disappointed fans and sponsors were The Golden Compass, Stepford Wives and Bewitched.
Nicole had been with Chanel No. 5 since 2004. Her ad campaign cost $60 million and it was directed by Australian Baz Luhrmann. Perhaps it is time for a change.
