Valentino expands stores.

Valentino, the Italian brand, had a new direction in marketing. It wanted to make Valentino more accessible to the less rich customer. This announcement was made on May 9, 2008.
The original designer, Valentino Garavani, was one of the most celebrated designers for the wealthy and he continued to do so for about 50 years. Valentino’s signature gowns were evening gowns. For day fashions, he used black and white designs.
Valentino’s move into brand extensions follows the trend of the fashion groups. In line with this policy, the company launched a watch collection in April. The company has hopes of opening new stores in US, Europe, India and China.
