The Look: Vinyl lacquered red lips work wonders in Christina Aguilera videos, but they’re a challenge for the rest of us to pull off. To look sexy but not sexpot, tame the shine like Natalie Portman without muting it entirely.
The Trick: Contrary to legend, there is a red lipstick for everyone. If you have pale or pink-toned skin, choose a blue-based shade; if your skin is olive, peachy or tan, opt for a yellow-based hue.
