Naomi Campbell is new face for YSL fashion house.

Naomi Campbell has replaced Kate Moss as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). Her contract was rumored to be worth $400,000. It was a standard practice for a fashion house to change models for each season. There were no feelings of animosity between Kate and Naomi.

Naomi has not been affected by negative press. As a matter of fact, controversy boosted her modeling career. Several days ago, she was formally charged with 6 offences that resulted from her row at the airport.

Naomi has completed the photo shoot for YSL’s autumn/winter 2008 campaign. It was done in March. The advertisement was artistic and a fashion expert said that Naomi looked stunning in it.

On a different note, there were reports that YSL passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008.
