High-Heel-A-Thon for fashion and charity.

Posted on July 14, 2008

Kelly Ripa, a talk show host, participated in the annual High-Heel-A-Thon to raise cash for the charity called March of Dimes. The dimes were marching towards the charity and these generous women had contributed their time and effort to raise money.

The High-Heel-A-Thon involved runners running in their high heeled shoes. The first to cross the 150 yard mark would win the race. Kelly Ripa towered in her 5 inch heels. She showed that she was a veteran when it came to running in heels.

Some participants wore socks as they anticipated some friction between the shoes and skin. The women looked like they were having fun in the race.
