Many people use sun beds. Presently, there are campaigns to educate the public about the dangers of ageing that come from the consequences of excessive use of sun beds. There are more pictures of different varieties of sun beds below.

An organization called Cancer Research UK, has used a computer program to age a face to show the potential results of wrinkles, sagging skin, drooping eyelids, coarse skin and red skin. These were the effects of excessive use of tanning.
This group discovered that UV rays on some sun beds are 10 –15 times higher than those found in the midday sunlight. Excessive sun of a sun bed could increase the risk of cancer by up to 75%.
