Rebecca Adlington, a double gold medal Olympic champion, had told her parents that she desired a pair of designer shoes made by Jimmy Cho as a special incentive if she won a gold medal. Now that she has won two medals, her rewards might be doubled.

The mayor of her Mansfield home town in UK, Mayor Tony Egginton, was extremely proud of Rebecca “Becky” Adlington. He had already prepared a pair of gold colored Jimmy Cho shoes ahead of her homecoming on Tuesday, August 19.

Steve and Kay Adlington have also promised their daughter a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes for bringing home a gold medal.
