Several original supermodels of the 1980s and 1990s have replaced their younger rivals to front the current Collections. Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista are back in vogue inside Vogue magazine.

Linda Evangelista, 43, has replaced Sasha Pivovarova, to become the new face of Prada. Claudia Schiffer, 38, models Chanel’s main collection. Christy Turlington, 39, promotes Chanel’s eyewear collection. Naomi Campbell is the face of Yves Saint Laurent and French/Italian/Brazilian Vogue. Fashion designers intend to appeal to older women with more spending power as the credit crunch hits.
