Today’s Beauty Look: Bronzed Bodies
Posted on September 9, 2008The Look: “The Rosa Cha woman isn’t a woman who’s going to beach parties and cabanas,” says MAC Cosmetics pro Gordon Espinet, who created the Brazilian beachwear’s Spring 2009 beauty look. “She actually goes to the beach. Her skin color is really the most important part of her makeup, and it’s not about looking tan. It’s about looking gorgeous with a perfect color on the face and body.
But ladies we all want to be careful with how much sin exposure we get as well! You can still get a suntan with sunscreen ad also if you don’t have time for the beach sunless or gradual tanner is the way to go there are so many great brands now, not like when sunless tanner first started coming out (ORANGE)!
The Trick: Espinet and his team applied MAC Cosmetics Sun Dressing to models’ bodies. “It’s not really makeup,” he says. “It’s a foamy long-wear fake tan but it’s not yellow or orange—just a really good color to warm their skin up a little like a girl who’s gone to the beach.”
Also don’t forget it you want to achieve a great tan don’t go over board. I have seen way too many girls locks way too tan and it all seems to do with hair color. I’m not bashing blondes because their are definitely gorgeous girls out there but don’t ruin it by laying out, the tanning bed, or sunless tanner. Being too tan as a blonde doesn’t go, do you see any really blonde brazilians? Not really. Just ask a friend and see what they think, if you have had enough tanning or need a little more.
