Katy Perry is already exepected to do the unexpected, but to pose wearing a collage of Hello Kitty emblems is just bizaare. I wonder what Sanrio would say upon seeing the crooner flaunting their most famous feline icon in a rather undignified way? For sure Hello Kitty would give Perry a growl, instead of a cute, mushy purr. I don’t have anything against Katy Perry boasting to the public that she’s a fan of Hello Kitty, but could she have chosen a less bizaare way in carrying the Japanese kitten on her sleeve. Her leather legginings also made her look worse-they are simply gross. I now believe that Katy Perry needs to hire a professional stylist to help her build a better fashion sense this time around.

Orange seems to be the favorite color of Grey’s Anatomy stars these days. First there was Katherine Heigl who wore a tangerine sweater at the opening of the Orange Bone Pet Store. At the NAACP Image Awards on the other hand, Chandra Wilson came in a bright orange chiffon gown that splashed a bit of color to the event. This warm shade of orange went well with the star’s cheerful mood, and the design of the dress protected her curves from going out of shape. The dress made Wilson truly fabulous during the event, and yes, orange is a color that would definitely keep her in style.

How do you pose for a matronly look? If you want to look old, dull and gray, then you might as well follow Gwyneth Paltrow’s outfit when she attended the Unforgettable Evening, a cancer awareness event,  last February 10, 2009 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at Beverly Hills. Indeed the event required her to arrive with some formality, but the all white motif and the light makeup  only made Gwyn look matronly. She even looked older than her mother, 66-year old actress Blythe Danner! Gwyn should have showed more life in this event, knowing that it promotes an anti-cancer campaign. Save for her colorful feather footware, Gwyn wouldn’t have looked more like a corpse that night.
