Fashion Revival: The Flower Child Look

Is today’s politics and economy really going from bad to worse? It seems that even Hollywood is becoming way too affected by  social issues such that hippie fashion is being revived once again by today’s hottest celebs. Remember during the ’60s counterculture when the people sported hippie get-ups as a form of protest? I am starting to believe that today’s stars are starting to wage a rebellion as well, I just don’t know against what (fashion pressure, I guess?) Among the well known personalities who can be seen looking like flower children are Mischa Barton, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan and Ashley Olsen-they can be found sporting messed up hair, headbands, lightweight faux pas accessories and boho-inspired dresses. Is this trend revival a good sign in the fashion industry? You decide.
