Crutch Beauty: Jewel

When singer Jewel Kilcher had to back out from Dancing With The Stars due to fractured tibiae, I was devastated. I couldn’t bear see her in crutches, as I thought she would look lame and disabled-but I was totally wrong. The Alaskan singer proved to shine despite her injury, and in this sea-green maxi, I could say that she’s totally gorgeous. Her crutch is even decorated with fancy ribbons to keep up with her style. I just love Jewel because she knows how to keep her grace amidst injuries, and I do hope today’s stars would be able to follow her footsteps as well.
