“Bruno,” Sasha Baron Cohen’s new mockumentary featuring  his other personality as a flamboyant, gay Austrian fashion journalist,  made its premiere last Thursday, with a whole bunch of personalities in attendance. Well, guess who deserves a good fashion applause? It’s no less than Bruno’s  real life gal pal, Isla Fisher! The petite Aussie actress wore ancute Stella McCartney frock which made her look superb, with matching London python heels and an elegant smile. Her long curls and subtle tan also fit her wardrobe, thus making her the star of the night.  Well-aside from Bruno of course. Isla definitely knows how to dress up-after all, isn’t that something shopaholics should be experts on?

While style guru Tyra Banks is having trouble with her own choice of wardrobe, here’s Alicia Keys, who seems to be the best dressed celeb at the BET Awards. The A-list singer arrived in a cocktail inspired mini, matched with strappy heels and tight-knit curls. The RnB songstress seems to have learned a lot about fashion and style over the years of attending various events like this, and from being a fashion disaster, I could say she’s now one beautiful swan. I do hope she keeps this kind of fashion sense for a very long time, as Alicia still does tend to go back to her fashion roots, which is a very very big no-no.

The annual BET Awards was rather special this year, as personalities from all walks of Hollywood gathered to pay tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Of course, stars would have to walk the red carpet, and among those who made the sirens of the fashion police was no less tha Top Model guru, Tyra Banks. The supermodel herself wore a messed up male ensemble, wrongfully embellished with a ribbon that doesn’t know where it’s supposed to go. Tyra seems to be sporting fashion horrors lately, and she seems unaware of it. I suppose she does have consultants who can provide good suggestions regarding her wardrobe-I really do think she needs a big change.

And to finish things off, Heidi Pratt used the dress for a fancy dinner that same week. Which blonde do you think owns the dress? Heather, who’s been busy doing movies lately, Kristin who already has an orange tan which suits best for the hot summer season, or Heidi, who just got back from Costa Rica for the season ender of “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

But if she’s going to do so, just make sure that Megan absorbs the advocacy Angelina believes in, mainly because it’s for a good cause. If not, then stop posing around as Angelina’s younger sister and get yourself your own spunk, okay?
