Pure and White: Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson was in an all-white ensemble as she walked on stage at the BET Awards to thank all the people who loved and supported her brother Michael Jackson, who died last June 25 due to cardiac arrest. Janet tried to keep her emotions from flowing as the late icon’s passing came so suddenly, nobody ever expected it. Her full white ensemble however made her look bulky and matronly, something she shouldn’t have chosen for the event. Yes, it looked formal, but Janet, a symbol of freedom and spunk herself, should have maintained her own persona rather than opting to look nothing less than sad. Janet, your brother’s a legend. He will live forever, if not in this earth, in our hearts.
