2009 Favorite Hairstyles: The Bun

From Amy Winehouse to Jessica Simpson, it seems the year’s most common hairstyle for women of all hair styles is the bun. Having a beehive (or at least a part of it) present on top of your hair is becoming popular these days, as celebs give their crowning glory some more volume than needed. Why so? A bun gives a fuller, volumized image of yourself, especially when you are petite. It’s not really difficult to make a bun, just as long as you know how to tie your hair right. Meanwhile, if you don’t have an idea how to wrap your hair with the pins and clips (and hairsprays!), then you might as well get yourself a wig to give off more high volume increase for your hair.
