Walking Down the Runway: Maternity Fashion

We all know that Heidi Klum, television’s fashion guru, is pregnant-that’s not news anymore. But seeing a preggy woman looking chic and fashionable is a different thing. Now here comes the discussion about expecting mothers opting for trend maternity dresses, and even more ravishing preggy outfits when present in events or special occasions. Should fashion contaminate the genre of motherhood, the realm where women are expected to dress for comfort and not for style? Should today’s fashion trends be allowed to mingle with rather conservative traditions in handling maternity clothes? While I say it’s fine and way okay, some people would really make an issue out of this, thinking that maternity is a sacred thing that should be treated with utmost respect. So what do you think guys? Should maternity fashion be upheld-or trashed?
