Brigitte Bardot is among the pioneers of provocative fashion styles back in the ’60s and ’70s. The icon is also known for her cat’s eye makeup and has since been imitated by most of today’s stars such as Dita Von Teese and Lily Allen. So, do you want to know how to get that cat’s eye look?

What you need: a black or kohl eyeliner and mascara of the same color

How to do: begin by drawing a line on the inner corner of your eye, and increase the shade in an upward motion as you go outward. Extend the line of your eyeliner one you reach the outer corner of your eye. Curl your eyelashes and apply two coats of mascara for a full effect. Just draw a line on your upper lid.
