Emmys Fashion Alert 2009: Padma Lakshmi

Okay, let’s just say that Padma Lakshmi is the most alluring American cooking show host. But definitely she isn’t hot in her purple Badgely Mishka mess of a dress. I don’t understand why she chose a dress that’s making her look old, both in terms of color and shape. And from an eagle’s eye view, the straps are really annoying. She simply looks ridiculous, not to mention the flaming red rosettes adorned on her lower torso. Is this a fashion experiment by her designer? If so, then Padma must have been mistaken for a mannequin and not a celeb-I’d really give her my two thumbs down!
