Jennifer Hudson’s Over-the-Top VH1 Divas Outfit

Jennifer Hudson came prepared for the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC earlier today, but by the looks of her over-the-top outfit, the singer came too prepared.
Hudson wore a one-piece, creme-colored, body-hugging Francesco Scognamiglio Fall 2011 mini dress, which featured a small v-neck and a unique choker-like collar to hide her neck. She paired it off with a pair of Francesco Scognamiglio Fall 2011 Swarovski encrusted, thigh-high boots (in the same color as her dress, but much more shiny). If you thought these two items were too much, Jennifer even added a bunch of Jacob & Co. jewelry to finish off the look.
We would’ve given the 30-year-old Dreamgirls star the Best Dressed for the event, if she toned it down a bit. But we must confess, this is probably Jennifer’s slimmest to date, so we give her props for the extreme weight loss. What do you think about her outfit?
