Rooney Mara’s Makeup: One Shade for All

When Rooney Mara attended the German premiere of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ at Cinestar SonyCenter movie theater in Berlin yesterday, we were expecting her to be in a black dress with bold red lips. But when we saw her makeup had much-needed color, we’re convinced Rooney Mara cannot do anything bad style-wise.
Rooney wore a black fitted mullet gown from Michael Kors’ Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The gown featured leather cutout detailing at the top. Mara paired it up with black peep-toe platform pumps by Nicholas Kirkwood.
Again, Mara kept her hair in a clean updo. Her short bangs and black headband accentuated her one-shade makeup for the night. Aside from just focusing on her lips, Rooney’s face actually had color – her lips, cheeks and shadow all had a pinkish coral hue that made Mara look like a real-life doll.
