As we wrap up our featured posts for the Oscars, we check out the party-goers at the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party held at West Hollywood Park the other day. Check out 10 ladies who was ready to party in not-so traditional dresses…
Anna Paquin, who attended the party with Stephen Moyer, wore a long-sleeved Emilio Pucci knee-length black dress (from the Pre-Fall 2012 RTW collection) that featured gold artsy pattern. She paired it up with black Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps and the ”Boite de Nuit” clutch by Roger Vivier.
Malin Akerman wore a body-hugging, multi-colored Sportmax Embroidered Dress (from the Spring 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collection). Instead of the knee-length floral dress shown on the runway, Malin’s dress was a floor-length version, but still had cut-out details in the neckline and leathered waist feature.
Anika Noni Rose showed off plenty of skin in a sexy Basil Soda gray and silver gown with sheer paneling on the sides. She paired it off with a silver clutch and silver accessories. The Tony Award-winning actress completed her look with a very trendy updo.
Gwen Stefani wore a black bustier Zuhair Murad cocktail dress (from the Fall/Winter 2011 Haute Couture collection) that featured red flower embroidery and webbed black long-sleeved overlay, but passed the origami belt shown on the runway. She finished off with black YSL pumps.
Heidi Klum showed off her legs in a structured yellow Atelier Versace ultra-mini dress (from the Spring 2012 collection), which featured metallic gold details and an open back. She paired it up with a nude Christian Louboutin ‘Duvette’ pointed toe pumps with gold details, and accessorized in gold jewelry.
Kelly Osbourne looked confident and happy with her choice of dress for the event. The TV star wore a pastel yellow Georges Hobeika Floral Embroidered Gown (from the Spring/Summer 2012 Haute Couture collection). Rocking her blue-gray hair, Kelly paired the regal dress with a white clutch and bold red lips.
Mena Suvari wore a sleeveless pearl white Romona Keveza trapeze dress (from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection), which was made of Chantilly lace and embroidered with silk organza flowers. She completed the look with black peep-toe heels and a black clutch.
Dita Von Teese looked amazing in a light pink Jenny Packham gown (from the Fall 2012 collection), which featured beaded cap sleeves and keyhole bodice. She finished off with a pair of Louboutin heels and accessorized with a Swarovski clutch and Bulgari jewelry.
Vanessa Hudgens was shimmering in a laser-cut tiered metallic gold Georges Chakra gown (from the Spring 2012 haute couture collection). She made the dress look young by removing the straps from the runway version. Hudgens paired the golden dress with a vintage gold crystal mesh Swarovski clutch.
Katy Perry partied in a sequin-patterned metallic Blumarine short-sleeved gown that looked amazing with her blue hair and kohl-rimmed eyes. She paired it up with Miu Miu heels, a sparkly Judith Leiber clutch and diamond jewels.
