Kristen Stewart was one of the best-dressed at Nickelodeon’s 25th anniversary of the Kids’ Choice Awards, wearing all-blue from head-to-toe. She stunned in a blue floral Stella McCartney lace mini dress with blue Barbara Bui suede pumps, and paired up her outfit with blue makeup while keeping her trademark smokey eyes.
The Fashion Court talked to makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, who has a long history of working with Kristen Stewart, to share what she used for the Kids’ Choice event. Jillian explained that she was inspired by the “beautiful, deep blue, lace Stella McCartney dress” and went from there.
Dempsey began by sculpting Kristen’s cheekbone with Avon Professional Perfect Contour Powder in Blissful and Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in “Violet Orchid” for the apples of Stewart’s cheeks. She then used Avon MagiX Face Perfector and Avon Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder in Translucent for a smooth matte finish. To frame her smokey eyes, Jillian used Kevyn Aucoin Precision Brow Pencil.
To recreate Kristen’s smokey eyes with a glam twist, Jillian says to layer multiple eye shadow hues. Use a mix of matte and metallic for the eyes. As for Kristen, they used Arcancil Khol Kajal in “Bleu Gauloise” for lining the eyes and blending into the shadow, Alcone Professional Makeup Cream Eyeshadow in “Lila 2″ for that blue highlight on top the smokey shadow and Avon Professional Smokifier in “Blue Grey” underneath lower lashes.
They finished off with L’Oréal HIP Professional Jelly Balm in “Ripe” over the Stila Lip & Cheek Stain in “Yumberry Crush” to create a natural-looking pout.
