Brooklyn Decker was in Sydney for the Australian premiere of their film “Battleship,” which was held at Luna Park yesterday (April 10). The model/actress showed off a three-colored dress and taught us how NOT to do color-blocking. Check out what she wore to the event.
The 24-year-old former model has had an amazing promo tour with a bunch of gorgeous dresses (like her Giambattista Valli mini dress or even the Alexander Wang knee-length dress), but her pick for her Sydney stop wasn’t what we expected. Brooklyn Decker chose a J. Mendel long-sleeved gown (from the Fall/Winter 2012 Collection). She finished off with her favorite pair of black Christian Louboutin “Crosspiga” pumps.
The color-block dress featured gold sleeves, black floor-length skirt, and a white bodice with a plunging neckline that also included black triangular-shaped details, which used to be where the cutouts from its runway version were. If only she kept the cutouts and modified the gold sleeves to black, Decker would’ve easily rocked it on the red carpet.
What do you think? Do you love or hate the dress?
