Lauren Conrad continued to promote her newest book “The Fame Game” at a book signing event at Barnes & Noble bookstore at The Grove in LA yesterday, showing off her newly-dyed pink hair tips that Conrad herself called her “little pink pony.”

The 26-year-old fashion designer and TV personality, who has released a three-part novel of her “L.A. Candy” series, a fashion book “Lauren Conrad Style” and an upcoming beauty guide entitled “Lauren Conrad Beauty,” wore a button-down white Sparkle & Fade blouse with metal-spiked collar tucked into a cream Paper Crown mini skirt. She paired it off with chunky white sandals, a beige bag, a chain bracelet and dark red nails.

As for her hair, Lauren tweeted before the event that she’s “Trying to convince @Kristin_Ess to dye my tips fuchsia for tonight’s book signing…” and it looks like LC proved to be persuasive. She showed up to the book-signing event with a bouncy wavy ponytail dipped in hot pink dye.

To complete her retro-meets-punk theme, Lauren Conrad went with neutral makeup that included pinkish nude glossy lips, light pink blush, and black winged eye liner for that retro look. She finished off with a bit of shimmery eyeshadow and dabs of mascara.
