January Jones attended the screening of “La Revolution Blue” for Christie’s presented by La Mer in NYC the other day, wearing a head-turning dress and sporting one of the hottest makeup trends today.

The 34-year-old actress wore a stunning off-the-shoulder Mary Katrantzou knee-length dress (from the Fall 2012 collection), which featured a digitally-printed design, and a gorgeous a peplum at the waist. Its runway version was presented as a gown (which we think looked amazing), but January’s was altered to be a cocktail dress. Jones then paired her navy, black and cream dress with a pair of black Sergio Rossi “Cachet” leather peep-toe pumps (from the Cruise 2010 Collection).

Although some fashion critics would complain that January Jones didn’t give the dress justice, we love that she went with minimal makeup with a punch of metallic blue. Wearing her blonde hair in a high bun and accessorizing with golden star stud earrings, January Jones went with a makeup trend we’ve been seeing lately on the red carpet – blue eyeliner. She paired off her matte light pink lips with dark blue metallic eyeliner on the lids with a slightly winged tip and finished off with shimmery silver eyeshadow above the crease and around the corners of her eyes.
