Salma Hayek joined her co-stars for the premiere of their film “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” during the 65th Cannes Film Festival in France yesterday, wearing a dramatic Gucci gown paired with heavy eye makeup. Is it hot or not?

The 45-year-old actress wore a stunning Gucci floor-length gown (from the Gucci Premiere collection), which featured a cleavage-baring neckline, fully-beaded bodice, several layers of nude tulle underneath the beaded chocolate brown sheer tulle. She paired it off with a champagne Gucci satin clutch, Gucci sandals, gold earrings, and a chocolate brown wristlet with gold details.

Salma Hayek styled her dark hair with a curly updo. Looking at the actress from far away, her super smokey eyes looked phenomenal on the dress. But up-close, the heavy makeup was a bit of a letdown. She paired hues of brown, gray and black eyeshadows that covered her entire eyelids. What we love about her makeup was the red copper lipstick that added a much-needed pop of color to her attire.
