After attending the premiere of her film “Paperboy” the other day, Nicole Kidman attended the “Hemingway & Gellhorn” premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, wearing a shimmery gold gown and a curly roaring twenties-inspired ‘do. Check out the actress’ outfit and makeup for the event…
The 44-year-old Australian actress wore a body-hugging Ralph Lauren chiffon gown (from the Fall 2012 RTW collection), which featured a halter-neck strap, a v-neckline, and hundreds of golden beads embroidered throughout the dress. Nicole Kidman paired of her 20s-inspired black gown with golden strappy heels and a gold bracelet.
Kidman wore her hair in a curly updo, which was pinned to two sides with diamond encrusted brooches and showed off the pair of square Boucheron “Ava” stud earrings in gold set with two princess-cut diamonds.
With that much sparkles in an ensemble, it was refreshing that Nicole went with minimal makeup that included glossy pink lips, a bit of pinkish blush, black eyeliner on the upper lids and a mix of silver and metallic purple eyeshadow swirled into a wing on the corners of her eyes. She finished off with dabs of mascara.

I see Nicole often wearing the best dresses out there. Her taste is ether impeccable or she’s just lucky. If I were a dress maker, I’d give her my dresses to model because she does them all justice.
