Kylie Minogue looked like a real-life mermaid at the “Therese Desqueyroux” premiere and Closing Ceremony of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, as the performer wore a light blue ensemble on the red carpet.

The 44-year-old Australian singer wore a light blue Roberto Cavalli gown, which featured a plunging neckline, crisscrossing details that nip her waist, and embroidered gems embellished on the straps, waist and bust. Kylie Minogue paired it up with Jimmy Choo “Sierra” platform sandals (from the Cruise 2012 collection), which was hidden under her flowy skirt.

Kylie finished off with a Chopard diamond necklace and a matching diamond ring. She then wore her long blonde hair down, styled simply with waves that were tucked behind her ears. Minogue added more glitz to her attire with sparkly makeup, wearing glossy pink lips, kohl-rimmed eyes, shimmery silver eyeshadow and bronze eyeshadow on her lower lash line. She completed the look with dabs of mascara.

We think this dainty ensemble looked much better on Kylie than her all-red Emilio Pucci gown at the AmfAR’s Cinema Against Aids 2012 Gala she wore last week. Don’t you think so too?
