Katy Perry in flowy VAWK dress

Katy Perry sure knows how to make a dramatic entrance. At the 2012 Much Music Video Awards held at Toronto Canada’s MuchMusic HQ, the star wore a head-turning black dress.

The 27-year-old star rocked a black leather and sheer dress from Canadian label’s VAWK Resort 2012 collection. The unique dress featured a halter neckline made of gold metallic lace embroidery, a black leather bodice that runs down into a mini skirt and a flowy sheer skirt.

Katy Perry paired the dress with black Christian Louboutin “Daf Sling” slingback pumps (from the 2012 collection) and accessorized with gold jewelry. Katy wore her black and purple-toned hair down with blunt bangs and some light waves. She then finished off with old rose colored lips, a pinkish blush, black eyeliner on the upper lash line with gold eyeliner on her lower lash line, and of course, extra lashes.
