Lucy Hale in Burgundy Peter Som dress

Lucy Hale attended the 2012 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto the other day, rocking the red carpet in a peplum dress with a twist.

The 23-year-old “Pretty Little Liars” star wore a burgundy sleeveless Peter Som dress (from the Fall 2012 collection) that featured a satin peplum split on the center to reveal its black side. It’s a unique play on the peplum trend and it’s nice to see someone changing it up.

Lucy Hale paired the dress with glossy nude Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps (from the Fall Winter 2009/2010 collection) and accessorized with a sparkly nude Edie Parker “Jean” box clutch.

Like Selena Gomez, Hale wore her hair down with some waves. But Lucy’s hair noticeably had ombré color that highlighted her eyes more. She finished off with a dark red lipstick, a pinkish blush and smokey eyes with silver eyeshadow.
