Zooey Deschanel in Scarlet Oscar dela Renta dress

Zooey Deschanel joined Emmy Rossum on the red carpet of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association Second Annual Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel Monday night, wearing a gorgeous red cocktail dress.

The 32-year-old “New Girl” star wore a scarlet sleeveless Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress (from the Resort 2012 collection), which featured a scoop neckline and floral appliques, but left the black detail of her red silk belt on the runway.

Zooey Deschanel paired the $6,990 dress with a red mirror leather Jimmy Choo tube clutch and black Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps, which looked off with all the red details of her ensemble. The actress accessorized with only a gold chain necklace and stud earrings.

As always, Zooey finished off with fun mismatched nail art. She then styled her black hair swept to one side with some curls. An old rose glossy lips, pink blush, black eyeliner with shimmery silver eyeshadow completed her look.
