When Keira Knightley stepped out for the premiere of her latest movie “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” at the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE during the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, she rocked a romantic theme from head to toe. Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee shared to InStyle that they “decided that the look should be bright and clean with a few gentle hues of color.” To make this look, Lee chose light eyeshadow with a bit of shimmer on Keira’s lids for that “fresh-faced appearance.” She then curled Keira’s lashes, applied waterproof mascara at the base to hold the curls and added individual lashes from a selection of strip for a naturally soft look.

When adding single faux lash pieces, placement is an important step. InStyle recommends placing the thickest areas on the outer edges, while adding fewer lashes as you work inward. A pinkish nude blush and eyeshadow, highlighting around the eyes and glossy pink lips completed Keira Knightley‘s makeup for the event.
