Katy Perry’s Looped Bun and Dramatic Makeup

Katy Perry’s UK premiere of Katy Perry Part of Me was held last Tuesday and we’ve featured her ballerina-themed Marchesa dress with Jimmy Choo sandals the other day, but if you want to recreate her elegant looped bun and blue-red-and-white embellished eyes, read more below…

The 27-year-old singer paired her tea-length tulle dress with a Union Jack cocktail ring and Union Jack umbrella, but she didn’t stop there. Her eyelashes also sported some serious embellishments with a blue, red and white theme. For her eyes, Katy Perry went with her usual smokey eye and extra falsies. She then added a winged eyeliner and finished off with eyeshadow in hues of gray, purple and taupe. A matte berry lip completed her makeup.

For the elegant bun, pull your hair back into a high ponytail, securing it tightly with an elastic band. Loop the ends underneath, tucking them into the elastic, before setting the ‘do with hairspray. Add a gold headband to emphasize the bun.
