Anne Hathaway attended the New York premiere of “Shut Up and Play the Hits” held at the Village East Cinema earlier today, showing off her new ‘do in a little black dress.

The 29-year-old actress looked perfectly comfortable in a black sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana dress (from the Fall 2012 collection), which featured a black-on-black textured pattern throughout the dress and a thick satin hemline. She paired it up with a black Stella McCartney clutch with a golden chain, and black-and-gray printed flats with a black ribbon.

What’s cool about Anne Hathaway’s all-black mod ensemble is that she accessorized with only a long gold pendant necklace and a pair of rings that looked very elegant on the dress. For a pop of color, Anne also wore a pair of oversized sunglasses with a tint of dark red.

Also, Hathaway’s pixie cut is growing on us and we’re loving the ‘do. If you don’t know it yet, Anne had to cut her hair for her ‘Les Miserables’ role.
