Zooey Deschanel, who sparkled her way on the red carpet of last night’s 2012 ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, was a presenter at the awards show.

The 32-year-old amped up her sexy and wore a champagne Oscar de la Renta dress (from the Resort 2013 collection), which featured a mix of gold and silver sequins throughout the knee-length dress. She then cinched her waist with a contrasting pop of color using a red patent belt (that matched her red-and-gold nails and glossy red lips).

Zooey Deschanel completed her outfit with a pair of gold Sergio Rossi “Cachet” pumps and accessorized with a shimmering Edie Parker “Jean” confetti clutch and Dana Rebecca Designs “Agnes Fortune” earrings.

Wearing her voluminous hair down with big curls, Zooey finished off with a black headband, extra falsies with dabs of mascara, light pink blush and metallic eyeshadow.

We love that fact that Zooey left her many, many black tights for other occasions, so even if we think this outfit had too much sparkling elements, we still think this is one of Deschanel’s better looks.
