The 2012 ESPY Awards, which was held at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. Wednesday, had a mix of actresses (like Zooey Deschanel), TV personalities (like Olivia Munn) and athletes posing for the red carpet in fashionable clothes. One athlete we noticed at the event was alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn, who showed up in a white gown, statement jewelry and beautiful makeup.

The 26-year-old World Cup winner wore an off-white Marciano gown that featured a v-neckline, a bandage drop waist, topaz embellishment on the bodice and a maxi skirt. Although it showed off her curves quite well, the additional accessories didn’t quite mix with the entire outfit.

Lindsey Vonn wore Simon G diamonds that she paired with a statement Atelier Swarovski bib necklace made with quartz, topaz, citrine and other golden yellow-toned jewels. She also accessorized with an ivory clutch and a silver watch.

What we love most about Lindsey’s look was her day makeup. Wearing her hair down with waves, Vonn wore glossy nude lips with a bit of pinkish blush, then paired it off with smoldering smokey eyes that had enough smokiness for a day event. It included kohl-rimmed eyeliner, metallic silver and bronze eyeshadow and dabs of mascara, which we think showed off her green eyes perfectly.
