Heidi Klum celebrated the 10th anniversary of “Project Runway” at NYC’s Highline Tuesday evening, looking elegant in a black dress and gold with white eye makeup that looked stunning contrasting her dark ensemble.
The 39-year-old model/businesswoman wore a little black Francesco Scognamiglio dress that featured a loose chiffon top, a plunging neckline and padded shoulders. She then paired the knee-length dress with nude Valentino peep-toe pumps, three sparkly Lorraine Schwartz bangles, a shimmering ring, and a diamond pendant necklace.
Although we’re missing color on Heidi Klum’s outfit, we think her makeup for the event looked stunning. For a fresh-looking face, Heidi made her eyes pop with gold eyeshadow with white eyeliner (either a soft cream eyeshadow or a sharpened eye pencil) lining her lower lash line. InStyle notes that this trick can make small eyes appear larger, soften smokey eye makeup and create a fresher or ‘awake’ appearance. Add brown shadow to soften the look. Champagne, nude and flesh-colored eyeliners work the same way as white ones.
