Last week, Anne Hathaway looked breathtakingly gorgeous at the UK premiere of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ with her romantic Gucci halter gown, Casadei satin pumps and Tiffany bling, but her makeup at that event also deserves a spot for its classic simplicity.

Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee talked to Red Carpet Fashion Awards and shared how they made Anne Hathaway’s “timeless look” with a bold brow and rosy pout.

FACE: Prep the skin with Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum, followed by an oil-free primer. For the foundation, Kate Lee used two variations – Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 and Chanel Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Fluid Makeup SPF 10. The natural-looking blush was made with
Chanel Powder Blush in Espiegle.

EYES: Lee used a soft vanilla eyeshadow for the lids, then highlighted her browbone with the Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Ivory. Use a black cake liner to trace the lash line, then finish off by curling lashes with Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler, dab two coats of Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara on the top and bottom, then add a few soft faux lashes on the top lash. For the strong brow, use Anastasias Brow Gel to set the brows in place before feathering in to perfect the shape.

LIPS: Kate Lee used Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Rivoli as a stain, before adding Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream to add moisture.
