The Duchess of Cambridge Leads Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List

August 1, 2012 by Paulene

The Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate Middleton, has been voted one of Vanity Fair’s best dressed of 2012.

Aside from the recognition, Catherine will also be on the magazine’s cover in its September issue.

The 2012 Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed list is the magazine’s 73rd. It honors celebrities, models, actors, royals and other notables who have impressed fashion critics with their public appearances throughout the year.

If you’re wondering why the Duchess of Cambridge tops this year’s list, be aware that Catherine requires a max of 5 outfit changes daily due to her busy schedule. It also reported that this hectic dress change protocol is not a favorite of Catherine, but she shows no stress when out and about.

Other stylish stars of the year included on the list are: Diane Kruger, Jessica Chastain, Poppy Delevigne, Léa Seydoux, Fan Bingbing, Ulyana Sergeenko, Alicia Keys and royals Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Alexandra of Greece and Monaco “royal” Charlotte Casiraghi, among others.

Men who earned a spot on the fashion list include Prince Harry, Tom Brady, Eddie Redmayne and Jay-Z.
