After a not-so-inspiring nude Christian Dior dress at the LA photocall of “Total Recall” the other day, Kate Beckinsale ensured all eyes were on her at the film’s Grauman’s Chinese Theatre premiere earlier today. And that’s exactly what happened.

The 38-year-old actress rocked the black carpet in a reptile-inspired Armani Privé gown (from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection). The body-hugging, strapless couture gown featured varying shades of green against a black base, a black bodice embossed with shimmery scales, and an asymmetric detail that stretches to one shoulder.

Kate Beckinsale knows the dress will speak for itself, so she toned down other details of her outfit and wore a black pair of Brian Atwood “Hamper” satin platform pumps, black nails and dark Lorraine Schwartz ring with matching drop-style earrings.

Beckinsale styled her long ombré hair into a low twisted bun with loose pieces framing her face. Smokey eyes, glossy pink lips and a pinkish blush completed her look.
