Kate Beckinsale looked feisty in a black and green reptile-inspired Armani Prive gown the other day as she rocked the black carpet during the Hollywood premiere of her film ‘Total Recall.’ If you want to copy Kate’s just-as-fierce hair and makeup… the actress’ team reveals how…
To get the “serpent goddess look,” makeup artist Molly R. Stern reveals the exact products she used for Kate Beckinsale’s face, while hairstylist Mara Roszak shared how to recreate Kate’s sexy ‘do…
PREP: Stern began by prepping Kate’s skin with Jurlique Rose Water Balancing Mist, followed by ‘By Terry Serum De Rose’ and ‘Arcona Eye Dew’ around the eyes. For the luminous sheer finish, the foundation they used was Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation.
CHEEKS: For the blush, dab Laura Mercier Cream Blush in Oleander around the apples of her cheeks. Stern then added NYX illuminating Bronzer in Magnetic on the cheek bones to “reflect the light.”
EYES: Begin by spreading NYX Cream Eyeshadow in Gunmetal on the lid, followed by dusting YSL 5 Color Harmony for Eyes in Garden of Eden (olive green) from the lid up to the crease. Finish off with Beauty is Life Perfect Shine Eyes in Palmery inside her lids, apply Hourglass Calligraphy Black Eyeliner and NYX Glam Liner Aqua Luxe in #08 for the lash line and seal everything off by curling the lashes and applying two coats of Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara.
LIPS: Kate’s glossy pink lips was done thanks to Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Canvas and NYX Glam Lip Gloss in #07 VIP.
HAIR: Hairstylish Mara Roszak revealed that Kate’s serpent dress inspired the “edgy and undone, with an effortless feel” hairdo. To copy this look, create cascading curls with your long mane, before loosely tucking them into a low chignon. Finish off with some loose strands to frame your face.
