Karen Gillan in Dolce & Gabbana combo dress

Karen Gillan rocked the red carpet premiere of her new series “Doctor Who: Asylum of the Daleks” during the TV Preview and Q&A held at the BFI Southbank Cinema in London earlier today.

The 24-year-old actress channeled Zooey Deschanel as she wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress (from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection), which featured a tangerine sleeveless bodice with metallic gold embroidery and a mini skirt printed with blue, yellow and white graphic prints combined with floral designs.

Gillan’s outfit was busy, but she toned it down with a black pair of tights and continued with black pumps. She kept her accessories minimal with just a rose gold watch.

Karen Gillan completed her look by wearing her auburn locks down and going with pink-coral nails, pinkish lips and coral cheeks.
